These spirits were carved as part of a final year project a the University of Limerick. Theses pieces are just a small elements of a larger site
http://peteforan.wix.com/mtwwoodcarving

This site was set up to promote and support the creative craft of wood carving for learners of all styles.
The site also can be found using the supporting Facebook and twitter pages
https://www.facebook.com/mtwwoodcarving
https://twitter.com/MTWWoodCarving

The site also supports relief and chip carving activities and video tutorials.
I would greatly appreciate if anybody that likes the carvings could like and share the Facebook page.
Wood carving is something everybody should try out at some stage in their lives…

I watched the videos and found them good for a beginner like me. My brother was a carver and left me his tools, I am just getting around to adding carving to my woodworking skills at nearly 65 years old.
