These two benches are made of alder with a dark walnut stain. Through-tenon detail on the legs. Full bench is 42” x 13” and the half bench is 22” x 13”.

Very nice! We have one in our living room which is very similar to the full one; it’s over 120 years old. The through tenons are pegged; and the top/seat is hand carved with design is up to about 3/16 deep. I think it was done in New Orleans for my Grandfather.

Well done! And I truly like how the stain took on the Alder. I really like this style of bench . . . design from the Woodsmith Shop. yes?

Thanks for the thumbs up everyone … a nice, simple bench plan.NickyP … yes, it was from an older Woodsmith edition … a couple of changes to height and shelf size.

Beautiful benches! The woods are gorgeous with the stain. Great design, well executed especially the joints. Great job!
