This project was my first try at intarsia. Its made from oak, cherry and walnut scraps I had in the shop. I am pretty happy with the results. The joints could be a little tighter but I guess that comes with practice.

Lovely piece, adorable puppy. Great wood colors and finish. A great project to be proud of.

Well done sir! I’ve been rehabbing a scroll saw and recently started cutting. ain’t as easy as they show in the videos! LOL! Very nice first piece. Hope my first will be half as nice.

Doc,The only thing I would do differently is make the stock thinner it was all 3/4 inch
