I delivered a batch of projects to the kitchen store this week, Thought I would make a display shelf unit for display from scrap salvaged wood form a local mill. The fellow at the store was more than impressed. He wouldn’t let me put a screw in the top to keep the pins from rolling off, he said he wouldn’t have put a screw in the side to hang the cooling racks. I thought it was abit tacky and not fit in with all the fancy things in his store. This venture is interesting and i guess it is away to get started getting products out there. Time he marks them up it makes for some expensive products. I made them but cannot afford to buy them. We certainly are blessed with our skills to produce things that others have to buy. The workmanship and items on this site are fantastic. I appreciate all the listings and have a huge favorite list. Most of my time now will be working around this forty acer place. Snow is almost gone and hope to get the greenhouse started this week.
Thanks for looking,
Any ideas how to sell things for what they are worth. I live in a small northern community. The stores like my work but want to make more than I do.

Very nice now you are “shelf-master” also!

I have one “Funky & Weird” shop that does consignment at30%; the rest that I have seen round here seem to want 40% and more just to sell the stuff. They do better on the consignments than they do on tier own stock!

Great looking stand to display those beautiful pieces. Your items will really stand out on that store. Great job!

Have your say...
