Made this bedside table for school this was a tough one since i didn’t have enough info on my plans and i changed a bunch of dimensions on the fly.
Carcas is made out of 3/4 maple ply. faceplate is solid maple and the edging door and drawer front are walnut. i made a mistake on the glue up of the top edging so i added the maple splices and router lines to hide them.
The only fasteners on this one are to hold on the top and bottom (a total of 8 screws)
I thought about staining it but decided to finish with a wipe on poly and wax to bring out the grain a bit. still wish i had sanded it a bit more but i was running out of time.

Very nice end table Phil… the wood is beautiful and I really like the way you have done the base, very nice indeed. well done and thanks for sharing.

It came out really beautiful. Great design especially the base and attractive wood combo. Great job!
