New Tables For the Mrs.

I received a request for a pair of Mission Style end tables from the lovely but formidable Ms. Linda. The first was straightforward and I had plans and drawings from, I believe, WOOD Magazine. The second was a bit more complicated. It had to act as end table for the chair but also wrap around the couch. No plans, no drawings. So I borrowed what I could from the first table and then improvised. It’s almost completed. Just need to add the shelf and then the finish. Picture one is the straightforward one.

That’s showroom quality! I love mission style furniture and you did a great job.

nice tables
and great timing
loml has ‘hinted’ that I’m getting ready to build 2 of those end tables.
if they come out 1/2 as nice I’ll score some serious brownie points!

My wife is talking about a mission style sleigh bed: I hope my attempt at mission style turns out like your. Those tables look great!

Nice Job!!! I’d love to see a pic of the couch table next to the chair and the couch…

Great looking tables, I bet there will be no honey-do-s for a long time.

I like your adaptation of the craftman style to modern use. I also like the graceful curve in the front. It has a light and airy look to it, but sturdy too.
