Another batch of 25 pens headed to our men and women in uniform serving around the world. These are all Maple.

Since I started turning pens, I have done 535+ pens for uniformed service personnel and veterans.

Dave—I think so, but I would check with Joe ‘Sarge’ Kelly ( jhdk@cox.net ) for any particulars.

As I recall, the pens need to fit in the pocket of a standard issue fatigue jacket. I keep mine to a maximum of 7/16” in diameter … I buy pen kits through their bulk buy program ($39 gets you 25 7mm slimline/funline hardware kits). I supply the wood blanks through local sources.

When I signed up, I recall Sarge telling me to make sure any pen I turned was one I would be proud to use myself.

Thanks for supporting our troops!
