Just a small cabinet made from leftovers. The carcass is pine painted black with a satin lacquer over it, the door panel is Mahogany (with a little bit of figure in it), the styles and rails are Walnut. Basic 97 cent hinges from Menards and a couple of magnets for a door clasp.. It hangs from 2 of the z style picture frame hangers, it doesn’t weigh much so it should work just fine.

Nice salvage of leftovers and cutoffs. Waste not – want not.

Looks great, I love these little projects made with scraps. When I accumulate too much scrap in my shop I’m constantly trying to figure out something useful I can make without pitching or burning what would otherwise be good wood.

It’s very attractive and will make a nice addition to your shop.
