This is a Spanish Cedar front entry door unit i recently completed. The frame is all 5/4 Spanish Cedar. The 1/2” wide border inlay in the door is Walnut. Really seemed to fit well in the 1960’s retro modern design house that looked like someplace Austin Powers might live in.
The door measures 2 1/4” thick x 40” wide x 80” tall. For the finish i used a satin sheen spar urethane on top of a Mahogany gel stain.

Nice work Miles, I always love seeing a nice entryway in Spanish Cedar. Hard to beat.

Beautiful work. Wish lumberjocks had smell-o-vision software. Gotta love Spanish cedar.

Gorgeous work! The details are are awesome. The door must be very heavy – was the installation pretty difficult?

Nice one, Miles. The design of the door definitely seems to fit the style of the house. Well done! :o)
