Arts & Crafts Cabinet / Sideboard. QSWO. Tried to stay true to A&C as much as possible. Choosing and orientating grain patterns was the biggest challenge in this project but it payed off. Finish is water based Anyline dye then oil based stain then 5 coats of Sealcoat then a whole lot of Bri-wax and 0000 steel wool. Check out the other Northeastern Woodworkers Associations show winners at nwawoodworkingshow.org.

Wow, beautiful QSWO! Can you share your source? Hey when people ask, I tell them where the bass are!

That’s beautiful grain work. I thought it looked like a small piece – maybe because the carpet looks like it’s on a table – until I saw it’s a sideboard. I like it even better now. It belies its proportions.

Great looking project. I like the tapered look and the figure in that oak is incredible.

Incredible wood and craftsmanship! Did you design it as well? What are the overall dimensions? I better not let LOML see it or I will have another project on my list. Thank you for posting.

Man that’s a beautiful piece! The design is beautiful, and your finish looks just great, and really gets that ray fleck to POP!

Haha thats cool. Everyone loved it. I’m not sure why, it’s a tool heh. It was my first time attending NWA. I’m going to make it a habit i think. Quite enjoyed it.

Did you see the giant plane birdhouse? I saw him setting it up and go excited, for a second i thought it was a real plane, i asked him if it had an iron in it.
