An American Girl Old Fashion School Desk. The perfect place for the AG doll to study while the young lady owner does her studies. Made of a very unique wood and special treatment to bring out it beautiful grain. As always, constructed with real furniture detail and quality.

This is made from a wood, sold at Lowes, called “craft wood”. It looks a little like pine, is soft and in expensive. For a first finish I used boiled linseed oil to bring out the grain detail and add a little color. This I finished it with spray shellac.

This will be placed in my fall craft shows unless I happen to sell it first. Either way I don’t mind as I have time to make more.

Doll sized? Lovely!

Would like to make something like these for my kids, but would be full-sized as none of them go for dolls (action men included)

Beautiful mini desk and chair, wonderful details that I’m sure will make the little lady very happy. Amazing work!
