My Father wanted a bird table for a birthday gift. so i got some pallets and made him one, apart from the posts all the timber is from pallets.

I’m sure your father is pleased and it was a good way to recycle those pallets.

I see one thing that may become a problem. Is there any way for rain water to drain off the “deck.” Besides the exposed deck the roof is draining onto the deck. The water will go through the any spaces in the deck boards until they fill with bird seed and become plugged. Then you may have a bird bath. LOL

What’s with building it in the lounge room are you single?
Reminds me of many years ago in my youth I pulled my motorcycle engine apart in a rental lounge room!!

its not the lounge, its an old sofa, i have an extension on the back of the house which is slowly changing into a workshop. but i havent got a garage or a shed big enough, so i am using the space i have.
