This is the project that got me to set up my shop.
As a contractor I built our home about eight years ago, and had received a bid for $10,000 to build the
bookcases for my office.
I decided I could buy the tools necessary and the lumber for less money and still have the tools for future projects, so I started with a Jet table saw, a jointer, dust collector and a bunch of cherry lumber.
Plus I got the satisfaction of doing it myself.

Very nice work.. being able to tell people that you made it is half the enjoyment.

These bookcases are simply beautiful. These would be a compliment to any home’s decor.

Well done!!!

Great looking bookcase unit. You did a beautiful job on it. Looks like you should do more of the same type of work. Thanks for posting.

Nice – your comment about the purchase of your tools is inline with the way I got started too. Great work!

A very, VERY, nice project. That case would be the envy of any private library or upscale law firm. Excellent work!

Hey Wade
very nice looking book shelves. That’s pretty much how I bought my first shop tools I’m a 20 year contractor.
