Sycamore log that I got out of a ditch and made into a BS box. Wrapped the ends with an old crocodile leather belt and was going to make a handle out of the same, but ran out of belt! So…..I fashioned a crocodile handle out of the same sycamore log. The handle sets off of the top about 1/2” and is secured by pins and CA glue. The box measures 13” x 6” and is finished with Danish oil and Howards wax. Was my first attempt at fashioning a handle like this but after a lot of sanding and shaping, it turned out pretty good. It ain’t perfect, but you know what it is. Thanks for the looks and comments.

Great looking box. Almost as if the crocodile handle is camouflaged into it. I like the work you did with the leather too. Unique for sure.

Very unique and quite distinctive—nicely done.
