Just finished another scrolled piece, i got the pattern from Creative Woodworks & Crafts magazine (May 2014).
I ended up messing up the middle part, so i was trying to think of a solution, I then remembered i had an extra clock insert. So i decided that was the best solution to the problem. The wood that the cross is made of is poplar which i resawed to 1/4’’ thick. The back is something of some sort, it’s made out of mdf. I got a butt load of these from someone and Ive been trying to use ‘em up. So yeah just a simple scrolled cross made outa poplar.
And as usual i cut it out by hand using a fretsaw. Thanks for looking!!!
:)

Great save and great design. Like the cross with the clock, look perfect together.
