Zoom Pictures

This was made for Trish, a good friend who needed a replacement for her old in-cabinet model.
I just snapped a quick picture so I could remember the pattern.
It fits in a slot in the base cabinet, the walnut front edge is curved and hangs below the board which serves as a finger pull.
The size is 15’’ wide x 21’’ deep x 3/4’’ thick.
It has a bees wax and mineral oil finish.
The woods are:
Center is claro walnut with a sweeping strip of maple.
To each side is myrtle wood
The two strips of blocks are wenge, paduak and maple.
Other woods are walnut, jatoba, wenge, cherry, maple, myrtle.
The bread board end is quarter sawn white oak and the pins are bloodwood.

Thanks for looking.
Andy

Nice job once again Andy. Even a cutting board becomes a work of art in your hands.

That’s a wild looking board that took a lot of effort to design/create. Very nice!
Can’t believe I missed your cool fish trivet! It is very cool. My sister would love this one as she lives to fish.

That is Super COOL!

I’ve never though of making a new Bread Board… that slides into that slot in the cabinet… before!

Sure! It’s wood! Why NOT?!

I will have to stick this into my memory bank (which is close to being over-drawn :) )... so I can make a NEW ONE someday when I’m wondering what to do next!!

COOL Purpose…

COOL Project!

Beautiful wood… Too pretty to be a Bread Board, really…

I’ll bet she LOVES it!

Thank you, Andy… Good Job!
