This is my shop sign that hangs under my air filter system. It is made from basswood with a cherry frame around it. All of the designs and lettering are chip carved.

it’s beautiful!!
Hmmm might just have to make something for the entrance to our shop!!
AND the bottom of the stairs so people will watch their heads.

That centre “flower” looks pretty intricate.

Superb work! (I don’t use that adjective loosely, either!)

Os, as usual, stunning work (I had to get out the Thesearus to find a word that hadn’t already been used)! I have been practicing my lettering for weeks and it comes nowhere close to yours, so I’m heading down to my studio to have a good cry.

Thanks very, very much for sharing that with us. I can hardly wait to see more!

Of course you had to have a sign, I mean if you have carved glue bottles, carved dust brush, you gotta have a carved sign.

Much more and you’ll be carving your workbench and then it won’t be useful for anything but holding paint cans.

Great as always.
