This is a coffee table I built a few years ago for my parents. I went with a rustic look since it would be going to their Lake house in Maine. The cherry slab came from a tree off my grandfathers farm, this was a branch! Its a little wormy but the wood is beautiful and I think the worm holes give it character more than anything. All joinery is mortise and tenon which was a first at the time. Ohh the stretcher between the legs is some white oak my father gave me from a remodel job, more sentimental than decorative. The table is around 19”H x 17”W x 54”L Have at it!

An excellent job from design to finish. I love projects from wood with a history!
