Celtic Shield / Trivet made from Birds Eye Maple :: 12 X 8 X 1 inch I cut the basic shape useing my scrollsaw then shaped the weave with a chisel sanded it down and bathed it in tung oil for 20 minutes then beeswaxed it. Looks great either way up as a wall plaque or flat as a Trivet.

Thank you for your comment. if you online search CELTIC KNOTS in Google images you can just copy & paste any image resize it for a pattern.. Watch out though its Addictive !
