Since our hallway is unfortunately very cramped and at the entrance often the shoes pile up. So that there is always something in the way and not all of the shoes are beautiful to look at.
Then I build this shoe bench with a shelf to store some shoes and at the same time, there is now a seat to take the shoes on or off.
