Toy chest built for family friend

Solid red oak trim pieces with red oak plywood…pocket hole joinery techniques used…

torsion hinges used to support lid…first chest made using torsion hinges…expensive but worth it…

stained a “black cherry” to (closely) match existing bedroom furniture…

Very nice, Jerry! I like how the middle stiles are thinner than the rails, gives it style! Looks very sturdy too!
