This is a cherry end table I made for my sister as part of a graduation present. The drawer is dovetailed maple. The top is a curly maple veneer with the grain alternating 90 degrees from panel to panel. I dyed the veneer walnut at my sisters request. The lower shelf has walnut accents to change the lines a little and break up the panel.

I love it. Very similar to a project I have in mind. It will be an inspiration for me.

That’s a great present, it will serve your sister well. The top has awesome finish, looks like glass and very nice drawers. Great job!
