Hi everyone,

I already posted a blog about this project, but here are some pictures after
a second coat of Tung-oil.
Wood species; maple,oak,walnut,cherry and for the frame.. remains a mystery to me :).
Maybe someone can help me with that?.

Video link of the whole process;

Thank you!

Great design, very 3D and so many woods

Exceptional Box work TAG
Just goes to show never throw away any off cuts until the project is well and truly finished.

As for the frame its not something I could pick, did it have any particular smell while being worked?

That is a really cool box!
The frame looks like it could be some mahogany variation. Very nice work!

This is really something different, and unique. Heck of a nice build using lil scraps and cut-offs.

I love the way you “think outside the box”. This is an awesome design and turned out beautifully.
