I made this in my schools wood shop in Wahoo N.E. I used a biscuit pocket hole joiner. The design I used was inspired by having huge interest in World War II. So I used a plane I like which is the P – 47 Thunder Bolt. So I wood burned P – 47 on the top. And Thunder Bolt on the sides. And on my legs I put a bomb on one leg and I put a 50. caliber round on the other leg.
I used two different router bits one for the top and the other for the legs and sides. I predrilled the legs and sides then I spread glue on them and then screw them together and wiped away the excess glue.
After that I stained it with a water based stain which was Golden Oak.

Very nice step stool. One suggestion to grab attention with your first photo is to show as much detail as possible with that first shot because it is the one that is posted with the project, Take one from the side at an oblique angle to show the top, end and side all in one photo!!

Good job on the bench. Keep posting to show us your work!!.........................Jim
