A gift for a family friend who was a big help during my daughter’s recovery from neck surgery.

The top portion is a salt shaker, the lower a pepper mill. This one is hard maple, finished with 4 coats of gloss poly and buffed with white diamond.

Very nice… COOL… fits hands nicely (by the looks of it) :)

My first thought… (if there had been Black rings around it, it could resemble the Michellan Man) :)

Nice job!

Keep it up…

Joe

I have experimented some with various shapes … this one seems to feel the best in your hand. When you pick it up, it feels comfortable … when you put it down it says ‘touch me again’.

I was looking how you ground the salt…

Then, it hit me…

The Salt is shaken out…

The Pepper is ground…

Right?

We have a unit that grinds at both ends… Sea salt crystals at one end and Pepper at the other end.

A nice gift and a cool project/appliance. Never knew such a thing existed but it is a great idea!

Joe—You got it! Haven’t seen any kits for a combo salt/pepper grinder … wonder who makes them?

Mark—The kits run about $7 at PSI … these make a great gift.

Cool and handy, like that salt and pepper are in one piece. Great job!
