I found a great piece of Paduck wood the other day. Not only did the guy let it go for cheap but i thought the grain was beautiful. The pictures really don’t do it justice. I know I’m going to resaw some of it to veneer a humidor but anyone got some other project ideas? It’s 4/4×13” x 96”

Suggestion #1: Send it to me!
Suggestoin #2: Buy some good cigars for that humidor, only fitting considering that beautiful veneer materials.
Suggestion #3: Send me the completed humidor with cigars.
Thanks.

Hi Brad;
I would be tempted to put a frame on the wall, and put the board in the middle of it.
Very nice.

That’s one nice looking board!
Not sure what you should do with it but I would recommend using it’s full width to show it off.

Resaw (some of) it and build a beautiful acoustic guitar. Send me enough, and I’ll do the same.

Thanks for posting. I have a paduck board that must be a twin of yours. I have had it for over a year and I still can’t decide what to do with it.

Great looking board. Let the wood talk to you and let it decide what it wants to be, But it should be something in a presentation mode.

I would resaw it and use it for Drawer fronts. It would accent well with some spalted maple.

Nice indeed. You must be very happy with the supplier. The suggestion could be endless. My suggestion would be to find a client or a need that also requires beauty.

Hey Brad – Soooo… What did you do with the paduck ?
If like me I have a stash of ”special” lumber, that no project has been worthy of yet.. ;-)
