Base is Yew that was originally going to be a bowl. Main part is unknown from a friends logpile.
15” tall as you see it. Sorry about the pics being sideways. I got a new tablet. It’s an amazing gadget but
I don’t have it figured out yet.
If anyone can upright them , pls do.

“Unknown from a friend’s logpile” sounds like “firewood” to me, a rather common species that’s often underrated ;)

I may be able to help identify the wood … “Unknown from a friend’s logpile” is a close relative of the species known as “FOG wood” (Found On Ground).

Very nice lamp.

It’s beautiful and well finished. Like the shape and the base has pretty grains and figures. Great work!
