The main idea is from http://lumberjocks.com/projects/92386.
I want to give a gift to my mentor. He is a professional woodworker. So I make this plane as a plane or a pencil-card holder . it is 45 degree angle on the blade. I have use mahogany and oak and for the base I use olive tree wood and leather.

Very nice work and very special that you did it in thanks. Far too little of that today. Very nice indeed.

It will make a nice gift and I’m sure that it will be appreciated.

Now that is most impressive. Says a lot about your mentor as well.

That’s a great and fitting gift for your mentor. Cool design, I’m sure he will treasure it. Great job!
