These Trinket Boxes were made for a neighbor friend from wood that belonged to here late father. The double, double dovetails were made using an Incra positioner. The boxes are approximately 6” X 9”. The laminated, free floating bottoms were planed to 1/2” thickness and match the top. The sides are sequenced, but it is hard to tell since the wood is mahogany. They are finished using a “Danish oil” mixture and sanded to 2000 grit.
Thanks for viewing.

Thank you for your comments. The mahogany was 1 X 4, in about 36” lengths that my late neighbor had cut and used for shelf supports. I found it when we were helping clean out his garage work space. Some of it has tiny worm holes that add “character”. He was such a great guy so doing this surprise for his daughter was pure pleasure.
