16×18 step stool. I made this in shop class at school. The N and B were cut out with a bandsaw. I routed the top, side, and legs. The top and sides are made out of mahogany and the legs are made of hickory. I used 3 biscuit joints to join my top together, and I used one biscuit to join each of the legs together. I used pocket holes and screws to assemble the sides to the legs but I couldn’t use them to join the top cause it was too thin. So in place I glued blocks to the inside of the legs and sides and then predrilled holes and screwed the top to the rest of the stepstool. I stained it with a water based red cherry stain and glossed it with water based polycrylic gloss.

Now that is a fine looking step stool. I like the way you used Empty space to create the letters. Great thinking.

Looks good and well made, like the letters, making it personalized. Great job!
