End Table and sofa table made from oak. Joinery mostly pocket screws. My first tapered leg project, had to make a jig for the table saw. Finished with English chestnut and Lacquer.

Nice table. What joinery did you use to attach the lower shelf? What finish did you use?

I just used pocket screws to attach to the legs. Probably a rookie mistake, but it worked for me. I just put on a couple coats of either Minwax Early American or English Chestnut (It’s been a few months since i made these) and then 3 coats of Minwax Lacquer.

Simple and elegant looking table, beautiful wood and great design. Like the tapered legs. Great job!
