Finally got the bigger Fence

Finally got my 52” Fence set up. Ive been dealing with the 30” for years so i ordered the new rails off of the x5 unisaw. It took a little modification to get it bolted up but it went off without a hitch. Then I built a new table to fill in the space. The old one wasnt going to work. I got laminate from a plywood distributor (discontinued color 4×8 sheet $17 a peice, Thank You Very Much) and got to work. I laminated the mdf core and trimmed everything up. Even got little man on the J roller. I couldn’t be happier with the way it turned out. Next up: A base cabinet with some storage for sawblades, zero clearance inserts and my fence when im using sleds. Stay tuned

Nice job. I still plan to cut the rails on my saw when it gets here (in good shape…) but if I could keep the 50” rip I would.

thanks guys.
NW if you can keep it over 34” it would be a good thing. Thats the standard height on Kitchen Cabinets. Hence the reason my 30” was no good.

I’m aiming for 36” for the reason you mentioned. I don’t think that will be an issue.
