This is my first box. Found a piece of walnut in the shop with a live edge so thought I would give it life. I burned the live edge with a torch to darken it. the whole box is made from walnut and the tray is scrap purple heart and felt. Maple and purple heart splines. I like the way it came out. It was fun and I hope to make more.

Very nice. Good use of material.
