Wow! that is one nice looking piece of wood. Are the black parts some sort of millable plastic?

It is lacewood, ebonized black walnut, and stainless. The finish is clear polyurethane.

This is great. I never would have guessed the ebonizing. I thought it was some kind of powder coating. Nice work.

This has got to be the nicest door chime i have ever seen! Great idea about a production run. Hope life up the street is treating you well. Sounds like you have been as busy as I have this summer!
