My very first project

This was my very first woodworking project just a few years ago. This was literally my first “step” into the craft. I had a jig saw, circular saw, and a hammer; that’s about it! I made this step stool for my wife to be able to reach the top shelves in her closet. It’s made from plywood and an oak stair tread. I finished the plywood with paint she picked out and the steps with oak stain and poly. It has held up well and is still in use today.
