VOTIVE CANDLE HOLDER

This was just finished yesterday (3/13/14), but was supposed to be a Christmas gift in 2012 (sad, I know). It is Cedar and some dark wood that was given to me. That wood shimmers in the sunlight and smelled like soap when I cut it. Maybe you all could help me out with that.

I will call this the Barney (everyone’s favorite purple dinosaur) light because of the votive holders being purple and green. These are the recipients favorite colors.

-- A carpenter takes an ugly, knotted, twisted piece of wood and makes something beautiful and pure from it. Jesus is a carpenter, I am a piece of wood.

Very nice looking – I think i’ll maybe ‘steal’ the concept.

Not your typical votive holder, a very refreshing design. Nice work.
