Well I recently went back to work for a company I’ve worked for on and off since 2005 either working for them or as a contractor. But its a great place and good people It was destined for me to come back. Anyway I’m in a different office then times before and I needed a coat rack so there it is.

Nothing special just Cherry with a bit of routering and some old hooks i found in the shop. It does the job just fine.

The last pic is a bit of trivia for you. What is it? Here is the hint I’m a drafter and whereas now I use autocadd and computer to do my job 25yrs ago I used these.

It’s a stencil set for marking and labeling blueprints

I like simple. It looks good and, is functional. I took drafting in Jr. High for 3 years back in the early 60’s. Good stuff.

Thanks Jack I like simple too

Andrew technically your are right but i’m looking for the name we actual call the set. Also we mark on the plans the blueprints are what were printed after all the work was drawn up. (your signature is too cool, that saying is way to true)

Thanks for looking guys

Nice Rack!!! LOL, couldn’t resist. I love the simple projects that don’t take too long and give back excellent results. I took drafting in high school, but I can’t for the life of me remember what the technical name for them is.

Thanks guys I dig the really quick projects too especially the ones that are for a purpose like to hold my coat instead of the back of my chair hee hee.

Leroy thats what we call them. When I first got out of college my first job was to leroy all the text on plan sets because the computers didn’t do text very well back then. After 8 hours of that you had some pretty serious hand cramps LOL..

Thanks for the comments
