Very simple coat rack. I had the wood (walnut, ash) put together from a scrapped end table project and we needed a solution for hanging guests coats, so, I chose some fitting hooks and put it up.

It’s a nice coat rack.
I’m curious as to the placement of the coat hangers.
I like to make my projects symmetrical, but I’m not married to symmetry…but I think symmetry would have worked here.

I very much like the design – assymetrical shape and hanger placement, and the use of dissimilar woods, is also a nice touch -yet the joinery and finish are first rate…it’s good to be different!

I think it works well. Symmetry is highly overrated.
