I saw a picture of a similar robot on Pinterest and had some old reclaimed 4×4 sections laying around. These guys only took a couple hours from start to finish and they made great gifts. I kept a big and small one for myself and always get comments about it from visitors.

See a brief write about it here: http://blog.monolocoworkshop.com/2014/03/wooden-block-robots.html

Very Cool!

Hee hee these are cool they remind me of when my daughter was young we made a robot for her to show the digestive system. We used all sorts of stuff from cans to wood chunks, nails, screws plastic. Such a fun project

Thanks everybody! I thought it was a great use of some scraps I had laying around. Helped me clean out my shop a little and added some more character to my house.

3rd big guy from the right reminds me of Voodoo Vince. Whimsical and great fun, love it.
