Yup Thumb Sticks not drum sticks LOL, I made these for my Tongue Drums

I have a new drum in the making also, I’ll post it soon. These little dudes are made from Walnut about 6” long and I will be using them when i have my drum in my lap. (which is why they are so small) I normally like to use my hands to drum but these create a completely new and different sound. Here is a link to my drum with just my hands. LINK I’ll post a link with the sticks soon too.

I used a combination of dremel and stationary belt sander to shape these after the general shape was cut out with the band saw. Just has a can-o-spray lacquer on it.

Thanks for looking and please let me know what you think good or bad, I’m not the best carver but it was fun.

These remind me of “deeleedoo”... a girl from our country started producing such like “sticks” for use in different purposes ;) we’ll she’s famous now and present in girl’s drawers. Sorry for messing your topic :)

Also I made these with the killer deal I got, the new drum I’m almost done with is also made with the walnut from that.

Been knocking on the drum with these, whew I really need a lot more practice completely different technique then just using the bare hands. Really loud in comparison also.
