It has been requested of me to make some kits for the local community. They have requested I make kits for bird houses, bird feeders, squirrel feeders etc… They are providing the wood and a saw blade. I just have to saw the wood into pieces to be assembled by people for learning and therapy. This is a prototype I made today with the wood they provided.

I have considered offering my services for the same sort of thing with our local Nature Conservation Association – per-cut kits to be assembled by the local Boys and Girls Club members, members of the Conservation Association, etc. Your plan for use as therapy in local extended care homes, etc. is a good one.

I have a good shop with all the necessities and always look for things like this to work on.

Anyone else got thoughts or ideas on this subject?

Great idea….Your plan looks like a good one. I would enjoy doing something like that myself to help others. How about some small planter boxes….they can put flowers in them for spring.
