Sculpted Cherry coffee table

This sculpted coffee table was designed by me but heavily influenced by the design ideas of Sam Maloof. The legs and table support are sculpted into a main center post which flows into a shaped stretcher joining the two sides.

Beautiful piece. Design is very cool and the book matched slab is gorgeous.

I was just moving some cherry slabs on day had this pair laying on the ground and thought, those would make a beautiful coffee table top. Build it and they will come!
