I’ve seen a few of these on YouTube and noticed that Dale had several listed on his Etsy site, so I went a bought a 1/8” x 6” drill bit today and set out to make one. I got this one a little thicker that I would have liked to (at the bottom, where you hold it to write with) but I will get it perfected next time. These are pretty easy to make, once you get the set-up figured out. It’s a cheap pen – all you need is a scrap of wood about 3/4” square by 8” long and a Bic Pen – you pull the refill out of the Bic pen and insert it into the pen that you turned. Whole pen costs less than a Dollar to make.

Sure a different style from what I’m use to seeing from you, but all the same in a quality piece. Sounds like something I can do. I may have to try this. Thanks Bill.

Nicely done. I have thought about doing some of these as a lower price point. May have to work it out.

Very Nice. I tried looking for cheap refills. Anyone know a source?
