This design is a combination of 10 bandsaw boxes selected from this site. I asked my wife to pick out her 10 favorites. Then I asked how she would use the jewelry box.

The answer was to store and to stage jewelry for use.

What you see are her requests in wood. The rabbit (upper left) is one of her treasures, so the top left has a rabbit hole.

On the practical side, she wanted larger drawers, thus two instead of 3 or 4. The swoops at the right are intended to hanging a necklace and for placing smaller jewelry either on the hooks of in the small “trays,” under the swoops.

The wood is from front to back, purple heart, white pine, white oak, pine and then red oak.

Dimensions are 10” wide X 8” High X 4-1/2” deep.

The finish is Tung Oil and paste wax.
