Clowning Around

After building my torson tables I need a little diversion. I remembered seeing this at an antique store awhile back. I did a little research and gained enough information to build one.
The Clowns are 1/8” cedar I planed to thickness, plywood would have worked better. I hot glued two sheets together and used my scroll-saw to cut out the clowns. when I separated the two I had identicals making balancing a lot easier later on.
Painting is not my strong suit! I think the clowns are more scary looking than funny.
If you follow the link provided you can see the clowns in action on Flickr.

Cute little guys! The one on the left looks a bit sinister LOL! The link goes to a ‘private’ message and won’t open. Thanks for sharing this wonderful toy!

Good diversion. Very entertaining. Every once in a while you have to build some fun projects.
