Elm and sycamore cufflink box

This is an Elm and sycamore cufflink box with a pear inlay on the top. This was made for my brother as his best man present.

The base was made from one solid piece and I used a router to remover material to create the box. It is finished with 3 coats of melamine lacquer.

Elm is hard to find any more, but your choice of woods blend well.

Unique design. I like it.
That sycamore looks an awfully lot like curly maple.
