I made this box for my wife as she asked for a new recipe box. This was my first project made of black walnut and i loved working with it. This is my third project with hand cut dovetails and i can see improvements from the other 2 projects. I hope i can eventually master that technique as i love the look of dovetails on a project. I used my router to cut the A in the lid. As you can see in the third picture(the inside bottom of the box) it took 2 trying to get it right. Thanks for looking.

Great job! It came out great, like the gorgeous walnut and those hand cut dovetails are impressive.
