I meant to post this project a long while ago at Christmas time but just never got around to it. This was a Christmas gift to my brother for his new knife. The wood is red oak with a tung oil finish and three coats of clear gloss poly. First attempt at inlay hinges. Used a chisel and thought they turned out alright for my first go at it. Lots of firsts in this project but I think overall it turned out fine and my brother loved it. Any tips would be gratley appreciated.

Looks great and well made. Like the wood choice and finish. I’m sure your brother appreciates it.

Have your say...
