My sister wanted a specific wooden ladle for her kitchen, but couldn’t find one….so I carved her one and threw in a cutting board for show.

Looks great. How did you make the ladle? What type wood did you use? Here’s my first cutting board,

I used Mahogany for the ladle. I used a single block of wood which I had to cut in half and the glue back together, the two pieces askew, so the profile of the ladle would fit. Then I cut as much as I could at the band saw. A little drill work and a bit of hand carving and sanding ant that’s it.
