Here’s another try on the basket weave design on a wooden goblet. Prvious one exploded during the final turnings of the base.
These two were made from a tighter grain (cherry) and came out better but the pictures aren’t the greatest. Basket weave design was turned on the Legacy Ornamental Mill then transferred over to a standard lathe to finish the base. l

I remember teasing you about tool fever when you got this Legacy Mill.
It looks like you have been putting it to good use. Glad your perseverance has paid off in a great project.
